Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled licensed 309A Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics to ensure safe and efficient operations. The Electrician will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Flexible work schedule either 4-10hr days or 5 -8hr days

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to relevant codes. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Work with low voltage systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to build and complete projects efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work. Experience as an industrial electrician is preferred. Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Knowledge of low voltage systems and their applications. Solid understanding of electrical principles, codes, and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
