Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on residential and commercial projects in Powell River and the surrounding areas.

This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols to ensure client satisfaction and good workmanship.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations and upgrades Be familiar with new and renovation rresidentialand commercial wiring practices Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical work aligns with project specifications and safety standards Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including proper handling of electrical components and equipment Document work performed and maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Experience working with low voltage systems and understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team
