Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety standards to ensure efficient and safe operations. The Electrician will work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that meet project specifications and deadlines.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components in industrial or construction environments. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently and safely. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Work with low voltage systems as well as high voltage power supplies, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Assist in the planning and execution of electrical installations for new construction or renovation projects. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies. Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial electrician experience. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment related to electrical work. Experience working with low voltage systems and understanding of electrical schematics. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and implement installations accordingly. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work in industrial or construction settings. Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
