You are a licensed Electrician (442A/309A) with PLC Troubleshooting/Modifying experience in automated manufacturing environments. This position includes troubleshooting, modifying, servicing, and support of software used on automated packaging machinery.
Our client in the Hamilton region is an industry leading manufacturing facility and is looking to hire an individual on their 3 shift OR Continental rotation. You enjoy PLC modifying/troubleshooting and have experience with servos and robotics. There is NO travel requirement for the position and they offer benefits, shift premiums, overtime and RRSP on top of salary.
Responsibilities include:
-PLC modifying/troubleshooting (Allen Bradley)
-Breakdown maintenance of robotics, packaging lines, wrappers, mixers, etc.
-Implement software changes and upgrades to improve equipment
-Electrical facilities maintenance duties
-Assist in development of PLC and HMI programs
What you bring to the table:
-Valid 442A/309A Electrical License
-Minimum 3-5 years direct experience troubleshooting, modifying, and maintaining industrial control systems in a manufacturing setting
-Knowledge of automated machinery
-Allen Bradley PLC\'s and Fanuc robotics
Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Experience with maintenance in automotive, pharmaceutical, or packaging environment
