Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Generator electrical systems, trouble-shooting and auto transfer switches, installation and maintanence and control systems and BAS integration, along with diagnosis skills. They should have the ability to read blueprints and control schematics, and have hands-on experience in both industrial and construction environments. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring all electrical installations and repairs meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and problem-solving skills. Work with low voltage systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on job sites. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial settings preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and installation techniques. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Experience in renovation projects is advantageous. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. A valid electrician's license or certification is required. Pay: $30.93-$47.53 per hour
