As a

Journeyperson Electrician

, you'll provide electrical support and expertise on some of the largest mobile mining equipment in the world. You'll use your logic and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems while supporting both customers and fellow tradespeople.

Your Role

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair haul trucks, shovels, and other mining equipment. Support component repair/rebuild, equipment assembly, and maintenance activities. Install new parts and electrical systems following industry standards and site-specific practices. Perform component failure analysis to identify root causes and improve performance. Collaborate with customers and other tradespeople to resolve technical issues efficiently.

What You Bring

Journeyperson Electrician certification. Minimum 3 years of mining experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and OEM drawings and electrical code specifications. Proven ability to follow and maintain workplace health and safety practices. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Komatsu AC Electric Drive Trucks and other mining equipment is an asset.
