Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both Residential & Commercial electrical work and demonstrate proficiency in various electrical systems and tools. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, perform installations, and troubleshoot electrical issues in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to install electrical systems accurately. Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on various equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct renovations involving electrical work, ensuring that all modifications meet regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low voltage systems, identify problems and implement solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of electrical schematics. Experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work. Background in construction or renovation projects involving electrical installations. General maintenance person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in various repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
