Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Preferred experience of having worked on a service truck. We offer a wide variety of work with a customer base of over 20 years. Communication skills are very important for dealing directly with our clientele.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in commercial, or industrial settings. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate work on large projects. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local codes and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician within the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. 309A Certification (Not an apprentice position at this time)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47.30-$49.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
