Electrician



Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as an electrician in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.



Position Title: Electrician



Location: Mosaic + Nutrien Underground



Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired



Responsibilities:



Various electrical construction installations including but not limited to:


Experienced in performing 3M cable splicing Proficient in high-voltage stress cone installations Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics Capable of executing glanding and cable terminations Experienced in messenger cable installation Capable of mounting and securing electrical equipment Various equipment installation (motors, switchgear, transformers) Proficient in the installation of strut channel systems Participation in safety meeting and toolbox talks with supervision, crews and clients Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task






Education and Experience:


Electrician or Apprentice 600v to 25kv experience Trained in operating mobile equipment (Telehandlers, AWP, Etc) General Mine Safety Awareness is an asset Fall protection is an asset Computer skills Organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills




Competencies:


Initiative Priority setting/ Time Management Motivating Others Accuracy/ Attention to detail Team Player Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights) Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required 3+ years of relevant work experience in an underground mine environment
