Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 1st or 2nd year Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, working with low voltage systems, and utilizing a variety of hand and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, safety, and technical proficiency.

Duties

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to install or repair electrical systems. Install wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in industrial or construction environments. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to ensure system reliability. Perform maintenance on existing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes. Work with low voltage systems including security alarms, communication lines, and control panels. Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters; operate power tools safely for cutting, drilling, and assembling electrical components. Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work and construction sites. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or construction settings. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Experience working with low voltage systems is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electrical installations. Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
