Reporting to the Construction Manager, as an Electrician you will be responsible for installations at the plant and onsite, organizing needs for the department, completing tasks on time, and improving efficiency and process.

Overview


We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including industrial experience, and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Responsibilities



Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and regulations Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical installations meet project specifications Ability to pull permits Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks

Requirements



Red Seal certified Journeyperson Electrician Proven experience as an Residential Electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and safety protocols Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical work Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid Drivers License and 3 year Drivers Abstract is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
