Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including experience in industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to relevant codes and standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation and maintenance tasks Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the electrical field Certification or licensure as an Electrician is preferred but not mandatory
