What the job is:

We're currently looking for a journeyman / journeywoman Commercial Electrician.

As a Electrician, you'll:

You will work as a Journeyman on commercial electrical projects involving solar. Safety is considered in everything we do at KCP Energy and the successful applicant will live and breath safety. You'll identify potential hazards on site, and participate in regular safety meetings. You'll complete the installation commercial photovoltaic equipment and systems. You'll also install BC wiring system.

You're good at managing your time You have excellent interpersonal, team participation and communication skills You have strong Electrical knowledge of distribution, installation, maintenance and service. You're willing to work away from home base as required The thought of working safely is exciting to you You have a minimum 2 years of Commercial Electrical experience You have a valid Red Seal Electrical Certificate You have a valid Driver's license and can provide us with a driver's abstract You have the following training: Fall protection, Aerial platform, CSTS, WHMIS You love all kinds of weather and working outside You aren't afraid of heights and are comfortable on ladders You're excited by being a respected member of a team.

What will set you apart?

You have Distribution, Power systems and Service experience You have Solar Installation Certificate (NABCEP or equivalent) ACSA training (LSE, LEG, PHSM, ATP)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.08-$52.53 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
