Key Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on all production and environmental control equipment
• Assist with and learn troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment breakdowns
• Installation of electrical equipment
• Fabrication for machinery and equipment
• Safety precautions and proper isolation of circuits up to and including 600 volts single and three phase systems

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be a licensed Electrician - Required
• 3 to 5 years\' of experience in an industrial setting- Required
• Dual ticketed Electrician/Millwright is preferred
• Strong academics in math and physics
• Aptitude to learn new skills, including electrical theory and drafting, CNC\'s, PLC\'s, etc.
• Strong background in manufacturing related to injection moulding, coating, and assembly would be preferred
• Ability to learn and comprehend electrical schematics, codes & electrical safety, electrical/electronic components, single and three phase power up to and including 600 volts, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical equipment, and welding
• Aptitude for electrical and mechanical equipment
• Self-motivated, ability to follow-up on tasks through to completion
• Experience/Working knowledge of printed circuit board design and manufacturing would be an asset
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills, together with high degree of mechanical expertise and computer knowledge
