Ultra-Lite Overhead Doors is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. Ultra-Lite has built a reputation for excellence in unmatched expertise and experience in our industry. Our team of technicians are highly skilled professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and service on every job. The ideal candidate will conduct electrical installs, tests, troubleshooting, and diagnoses problems on a variety of overhead door motor operators and control systems. The electrician will coordinate with the service/install dispatcher team daily.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment in all manner of environments. Perform routine inspections on equpiment. Perform closeout tasks for each job including detailed report and pictures for time tracking and accountability to customers. Follow all safety protocols related to the scope of work, including working with varying voltage systems and ensuring compliance with electrical codes. Work with our team of trained and skilled technicians to support our customer base. Must be able to travel out of town. Willing to assist with overtime when needed and on-call schedules.

Qualifications / Experience

Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate or Red Seal. 3 Years Experience. Must have own tools. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently. Comfortable with heights. Valid Driver's License and must provide abstract. Relevant safety training and tickets are an asset but are not required. Overhead door experience is an asset. High speed door experience is an asset.
