Job Description

Filtervac International is a world-wide leading manufacturer of Oil Purification/Regeneration Systems and other liquid filtration systems and Gas Flares.

The applicant will be responsible to build control panels, install instrumentation and wire systems specifications based on detailed schematics or blueprints provided. This work will be done at our facility. Occasional upgrades/repairs of systems related to the electrical systems maybe required for systems returned to the factory and in some cases, there will be a requirement to do the work in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Must have the ability to read and interpret wiring blueprints Experienced in assembling/wiring control panels. Plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications and installs all electrical and electronic devices Experience in wiring and running conduit for systems Systematically diagnoses faults in electrical systems, electronics and equipment and repairs or replaces electrical or electronic components as required Work independently or as a team member. Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Company Policies and Procedures. Perform other duties as defined and assigned by department supervisor, or lead hand. Initiate and continually strive for maximum production efficiency and attention to detail.

skill Must be willing to do some occasional travel. PLC experience and troubleshooting a control system is an asset. Experience with pneumatics controls is an asset. 442A license, preferable Apply only if you are a Canadian citizen, PR-holder or have a valid Canadian working visa. Be ready for a hands-on electrical skills test at our plant location.

Pay: $29.00-$39.00 per hour
