We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and components. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Help with low voltage wiring installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Learn about electrical codes and regulations applicable to the job site.

Requirements

Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related electrical field is preferred but not mandatory. Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including low voltage systems. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take on new challenges. Must be able to work in various environments, including construction sites.
