Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Work with low voltage wiring and components as directed by senior electricians. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements. Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of electrical systems or a strong interest in pursuing a career as an electrician. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their proper usage. Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints is preferred. Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in related fields is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $18.25-$34.64 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
