Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to): * PLC and HMI troubleshooting including modification and calibration of equipment; VFD; Servomotors and control experience.

• Maintain, modify, repair, install, improve, and troubleshoot various type of machinery, and equipment; mixers, depositors, ovens, slicers, conveyors, checkweighers, Flow wrappers, carton formers, printers, sealers, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical breakdown in the production process to ensure minimal loss in the manufacturing of our products.
• Perform all planned maintenance and safety inspection assigned in a timely manner and document actions in CMMS.
• Assist in the installation of any new equipment in the facility.
• Prevent premature breakdown of the equipment used in production and operate the facility through continual preventative maintenance.
• Assist in the ordering of electrical components and maintaining the inventory of critical electrical parts.
• Optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability, participating in continuous improvement projects and completing work orders according to PM schedules.
• Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production and bakery equipment.
• Ensure that work area is always clean of debris and hazards and check work area for such hazards upon arrival and when departing each area of work.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Other related duties and assigned.

Entrance Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of similar experience working preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in collaborating with the leadership team within and outside of the department
• Must be experienced in overseeing ongoing initiatives
• Communication and Analytical Skills:
• Strong verbal/ written communication and leadership skills with the ability to positively influence members of the team.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify issues, trends and drive solutions to improve H&S.
• Must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast-paced and changing workplace environment with a desire to make a strong impact on the business.
• Must have a strong passion and desire for the wellbeing and safety of employees
• Must have excellent initiative and be a self-starter with a keen attention to details.
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
