Electrician

A minimum of 5 years electrical experience is required. The position will assist in the manufacturing process of building mobile specialty units to include electrical layout, assembly and installation of wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in all mobile units built. This position does not require a dedicated electrical designation.

Key Role Responsibilities

- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams to determine layouts for new and existing installations

- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors

- Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment

- Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and components to form circuits

- Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and/or replace faulty components

- Connect electrical power to trailer signaling devices and heating and cooling systems

- Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system following installation, replacement and/or repair

- Willingness to assist with other trades in the manufacturing process

The position offered is full time | 40 hours per week | Monday through Friday | 7am to 3:30pm which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks. Benefits are offered after 3 successful months of employment.
