Job Title: Electro/mechanical Technician - Assembler Progressive Educational Systems is a manufacture of Renewable Energy and HVAC Training systems. We are also a reseller of these and other technical training products including: hydraulics/pneumatics, Mechanical, Robotics, Electrical/Electronic training systems, virtual reality and more. Our customers are located across Canada and the USA and include high schools, colleges and Universities. Responsibilities include: Assemble training systems. Provide technical support for products sold. Respond to incoming calls and emails for support. Provide technical support when required. Product training will be provided KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Related service/support and fabrication experience.
- Electrical and or Mechanical knowledge
- Solidworks or other design software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol considered an asset.
- Computer and network skills considered an asset.
- Simple skills like soldering copper pipe, electrical wiring considered an asset.
- Must be able to work as part of a team but independently as well.
- No previous knowledge of these products areas required but is considered an asset. Product training will be provided.
