Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with a strong background in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of complex electrical equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties



Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings. Program, maintain, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and sensors to optimize manufacturing processes. Conduct mechanical inspections and support the integration of CNC machinery and other automated equipment. Utilize technical knowledge of mechanical systems, sensors, and electrical components to diagnose problems accurately. Read and interpret schematics for wiring, control circuits, and automation systems. Assist with installation of new electrical systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and system modifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance. Provide technical support for manufacturing operations and customer service teams as needed.

Experience



Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial electrician within a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment including CNC machines and automation systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, schematics, and low voltage systems. Familiarity with AutoCAD for designing or modifying electrical layouts is preferred. Experience working with industrial automation, CNC machinery, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset.
