Electrical Technician - ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES

Summary of Position




Has 1 to 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Will be required to do monthly PM services, software updates and training of lower-level techs.




Requirements




Has a good understanding of electrical theory Possess an advanced hand tool set. A willingness to learn and retain information. A willingness to train and share knowledge of Element equipment with other employees. To follow all safety processes and procedures. Must not have received any written write ups within the past year.



Training




Siemens PLC courses Knowledge of engine/transmission diagnostic software. Employees will have the opportunity to attend training courses and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course



Duties & Responsibilities




Basic understanding of the use of diagnostic software and how to use it. Proficient knowledge of hydraulic systems and their correct control settings. Can perform electro/hydraulic system troubleshooting. Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting. Has a good understanding on basic equipment operation and theory. Basic understanding of troubleshooting and repair of greaser systems. Assist level 3 electronics technicians with major projects Is proficient in performing all monthly PM services with no guidance. Must have a good understanding of electro-hydraulics pump systems
