Dovre Group is pleased to present the following opportunity: \xef\xbb\xbfElectrical Technical Integrity Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Project Development Phase located in St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, NL.

Function

\xef\xbb\xbfResponsibilities:\xef\xbb\xbf

Responsible for technical integrity input and assurance activities for electrical and telecommunications equipment and systems (domain) during the project development phase such as:

Risk review participation (i.e., HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA);

Participate in electrical and telecommunications system development;

Contribute to the development of cyber security infrastructure and protocols;

Develop Safety Environmental Critical Element performance standards;

Reviews of design and construction team\'s and contractor documentation (i.e., P&IDs, single line diagrams, C&E charts, package specifications, equipment and cable specifications, ATEX strategy, electrical construction procedures, load management, energy efficiency strategy);

Review safety requirements for Canada within domain and align with design team strategies and specifications;

Participate in site assurance reviews and audits (i.e., Yards, OEMs, and engineering contractors);

Participate in systems integration and factory acceptance testing (package and sub- package level);

Participate in the development of asset digital twin and lifecycle simulator/s;

Contribute to the maintenance plan build;

Contribute to sparing and obsolescence planning;

Contribute to Operation strategies, plans and procedures development; and

Contribute to Development Plan Application and Certification Plan development.

Represent the Company and support Project Operations in all external stakeholder engagements relating to the described domain (i.e., Partner, Regulators)

Participate as a member of the mechanical completion and commissioning team and act as the technical integrity representative in the RFOC team, for described domain

Develop the technical integrity inspection management plan for described domain

Act as a resource to the Project Operations team for all Company and regulatory requirements and design codes, for the described domain

Contribute to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s global professional network for described domain. Act as strong link between the professional network and the Project Operations team

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years (preferably the majority focused on floating offshore Oil and Gas assets)
  • Operations experience centered on performance of technical barriers
  • Good knowledge of tools and methods for electrical equipment and systems design work
  • Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree
  • Professional Engineering designation from Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of Newfoundland and Labrador (or ability to obtain designation)
