Job Overview:

As an Electrical Service Technician at County Electric, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work closely with our team to ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, outlets, panels, lighting, and electrical appliances. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems and circuits. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Ensure that all electrical work is completed according to local, state, and national codes and safety standards. Collaborate with other team members, clients, and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget. Diagnose electrical issues and recommend solutions for repairs or upgrades. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. For Apprentices: Assist and learn under the guidance of experienced Journeyman technicians, gaining hands-on training and expanding your knowledge base.

Qualifications:Journeyman Level:

Valid state journeyman electrician license. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Apprentice Level:

Completion of or enrollment in an accredited apprenticeship program or electrical training course. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians. Ability to work safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
