Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Reliability Engineer to join our team, based at the Irving Pulp & Paper Mill in Saint John, NB.

As the Electrical Reliability Engineer, you will lead reliability analysis and improvement projects, along with providing technical support to mill maintenance teams. You will work closely with the Electrical teams around the mill to reduce downtime through continuous improvement initiatives, and by working with the team and vendors to find optimal solutions at the best cost.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all mill safety policies

\xc2\xb7 Lead area Reliability Team meetings

\xc2\xb7 Root Cause Analysis on failures

\xc2\xb7 Mean Time Between Failure tracking and improvement

\xc2\xb7 Provide technical support to mill maintenance teams

\xc2\xb7 Represent mill Reliability and Maintenance on capital projects

\xc2\xb7 Preventative Maintenance development, creation, updates, and improvements

\xc2\xb7 Manage maintenance projects and programs during major mill shutdowns

\xc2\xb7 Administer and manage mill entity structure

\xc2\xb7 Create and dispose of entities as required

\xc2\xb7 Manage Bill of Material for electrical equipment

\xc2\xb7 Ensure appropriate levels of inventory are stocked

\xc2\xb7 Develop and submit annual maintenance budgets for large maintenance projects

\xc2\xb7 Review and monitor project maintenance costs on a weekly and period basis

\xc2\xb7 Support the mill during upset conditions.

\xc2\xb7 Weekend duty rotation

Qualifications:

• Education required: University degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
• High energy level with thorough attention to detail
