Job Description


Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Inspector for a site based position in Northern BC.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Overseeing QA/QC activities and work executed by onsite contractors by doing inspections, and surveillance activities.

A Management of Change process including FCNs/RFIs/TDs.

Coordinating review and approval of Subcontractors ITPs, Quality plans and procedures.

Managing and coordinating Pre-inspection meetings, site inspection lookahead schedule.

Maintaining and updating site NCR register and coordinating approval of subcontractors NCR disposition by client and follow up NCRs for close out.

Weekly reporting of Subcontractors quality activities (Inspections / Surveillances/Audits) and progressive sign off on ITP activities. Management and Closeout of ITPs, complete with documentation.

Manage compilation and review of subcontractors\xe2\x80\x99 MDRs / completion manuals, etc. prior to submission to client for approval.

Review and progressive compilation of turnover packages.

Development, management, and execution of the Audit Plan.

Oversight of contractor preservation programs complete with consolidation of documentation.

Skills / Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

Red Seal Journeyperson Certification

5+ Years of Experiency in a similar role is prefered

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Exceptional Communication Skills

Attention to detail

Valid Driver\'s License

Ability to work independently, and under pressure

Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time

Working Conditions

Outdoor environment, on a remote industrial site
