Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management software and industry standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead complex projects, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results within scheduled timelines. The position requires a proactive approach to project planning, resource management, and client communication to ensure project success.

Duties



Lead and manage electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget Develop detailed project plans utilizing construction management software such as ProCore Projectsight Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration Oversee procurement of materials and equipment using construction estimating tools like Accubid Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of construction Manage project documentation, change orders, and reporting using Bluebeam or similar software Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues related to electrical systems during construction phases Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and standards

Requirements



Proven experience in construction management with a focus on electrical projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Demonstrated ability in construction estimating and project budgeting Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Familiarity with civil engineering concepts as they relate to electrical infrastructure projects Strong leadership qualities with effective time management skills Ability to coordinate multiple teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical or construction management are preferred but not mandatory Minimum of Certified Electrical Technologist, Electrical Engineering would be considered an Asset
This role is integral to the successful delivery of complex electrical projects that meet client expectations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
