Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY


Strike's Electrical Project Coordinator provides administrative project management assistance. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing cost activities, document control, and estimating on construction projects of all sizes. The project coordinator analyzes and forecasts project costs and provides detailed project information related to contractual schedule, scope and cost, recommending improvements or corrective actions for the project.

POSITION DETAILS


Local work in Fort Saskatchewan 5/2 shift 48-hour work week

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES


Misc. Purchasing - coordinated with Superintendent Tracking of installed quantities Change order research and takeoffs Coordinate electrical field install work packages Complete 3-week look ahead Working with other contractors and owner to schedule work

QUALIFICATIONS


Education


Must be a certified Journeyperson Electrician

Experience


Must have at least 3 years of experience as a journeyperson Previous project coordinator experience is an asset Previous supervisory experience is an asset

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES


Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing Exemplary professional verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Meticulous record-keeping skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel
