We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.

Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position and will be based in Labrador West, NL. This position may require candidates to work a 7 on 7 off shift - 12-hour shifts (day/night).

Job Responsibilities:

Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for industrial purposes Supervise a team comprised of electricians, instrumentation technicians and technologists. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Provide technical assistance to field personnel in the areas of high-voltage distribution equipment and high-voltage motors/generators Respond and provide technical assistance to electrical equipment problems within the company-owned facilities Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs on high-voltage motors and equipment to ensure quality Issue repair reports at the conclusion of critical jobs for proper historical documentation Identify engineered resolutions to recurring electrical issues Improve plant/equipment reliability through historical trending and improved maintenance procedures Participate in Failure Analysis and the RCA process for electrical failures. Execute equipment maintenance strategies (predictive and preventive) Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Skills and Qualifications:

Working knowledge of processing facility operations in the Mining industry including Concentrator/Mine maintenance, safety, maintenance, equipment, and staff utilization. Instrumentation & controls experience would be an asset Previous supervisory experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively train and mentor employees. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable with a fast-paced environment. Excellent work ethic, and attendance record.
