We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and industrial settings.

Duties

Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Work with experienced electricians to learn about wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Support low voltage wiring installations for security systems, alarms, and communication devices. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical work.

Requirements

Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related electrical field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and take direction effectively. Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.95-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
