The Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Digital Solutions Manager role is a full-time position based in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Spend most of the workweek on project tasks while still providing oversight to a small team of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineers and Designers
  • Lead a team to provide Digital Solutions and automate and integrate tools and systems used by all Chemetics\xe2\x80\x99 departments to collaborate on the design, analysis, and modelling of Chemical Plants
  • Be accountable for leading team members including their assignment on projects, tracking existing capability and strategically addressing future capability requirements
  • Ensure team member adherence to company processes, engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
  • Estimate workhours for proposals and provide input into scopes of work
  • Manage resources including hiring candidates and arranging for workshare with other offices
Qualifications

Technical and Industry Experience:
  • Relevant years\' relevant discipline and discipline lead or project engineering experience
  • General experience with design, specification, bid evaluation, vendor document review, inspection, checkout, and commissioning of all and some specialized experience in one of
  • Electrical equipment and systems
  • Field Instrumentation
  • Control systems
  • Experience with electrochemical process facilities
  • Experience with tools and systems used to design, analyze, and model Chemical Plants
  • Experience with programming and scripting
Education \xe2\x80\x93 Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registered as a P. Eng. in BC
