The Position



RSEI is offering an entry-level role for an Electrical I&C Engineering Technologist with a strong interest in the technical side of instrumentation and electrical engineering. This is an opportunity to gain diverse, hands-on experience while working closely with senior engineers on challenging projects.

Duties



Support electrical and I&C design tasks, including drawings, schematics, and documentation. Assist with site construction, inspection, and commissioning, including hands-on work when needed. Perform basic electrical and instrumentation calculations under supervision. Prepare 2D/3D AutoCAD designs and work with other engineering software as required. Interface with vendors to gather technical information, quotations, and specifications. Contribute to capital cost estimates, reports, and project documentation.

Mandatory Requirements



Diploma - Electrical Engineering Technologist. Overall average >80% (transcript required). G-License with access to a vehicle. Valid passport. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD 2D proficiency. Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments.

Preferred Requirements



AutoCAD 3D experience. Familiarity or interest in PLC programming, LabVIEW, or electrical/I&C calculation software. Interest in learning across engineering disciplines. Interest in understanding the business side of engineering.
