Overview

We are seeking a Electrical Fireplace Installer to join our team. This role involves installing electrical fireplaces and related systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The Electrical Fireplace Installer is responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting electric fireplaces in residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact professionally with customers while ensuring safe and code-compliant installations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and various specialized skills to handle diverse installation projects efficiently. Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and heavy equipment operation is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects with a professional team dedicated to craftsmanship and safety.

Install and deliver electric fireplaces, wall-mounted units, recessed models, and built-in systems. Perform site assessments to determine installation requirements, electrical access, framing needs, and safety considerations. Run or coordinate electrical wiring (120V / 240V) as needed, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes. Mount units, complete framing modifications, and ensure proper venting when applicable (for hybrid units). Test installed units to ensure functionality, safety, and proper operation. Diagnose and repair electrical fireplace issues, including wiring, control panels, remotes, heaters, and LED systems. Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation steps, maintenance procedures, and safety practices. Prepare service reports, document installations, and maintain tools and equipment. Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and designers when required.

Experience

Experience in fireplace installation, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, or a related technical trade. Knowledge of electrical systems and willingness to work with wiring safely. Ability to read installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Comfortable using power tools and working on ladders or in tight spaces. Good customer service, communication, and time-management abilities. Valid driver's license.

Ability to lift 50-75 lbs units and materials Comfortable bending, climbing, drilling, and working in various home construction environments
