As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with the project management team to secure electrical contracts. You will play a critical role in our company's success by ensuring that we win projects at competitive prices while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project requirements. Prepare detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and pricing. Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimating process. Develop and submit bids, proposals, and tender documents in a timely manner. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Work closely with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition from the estimating phase to project execution. Continuously update and maintain a database of cost information and historical project data.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry. Proficiency in electrical estimating software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and labor costs. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in estimating. Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations is a plus.
