Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our process by accurately assessing project costs and timelines and ensuring that tenders are submitted on time. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in construction estimating software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders.

Duties

Analyze blueprints and other project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project management teams to develop project budgets and timelines. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and AccuBid for efficient estimating processes. Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates. Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project specifications and changes.

Experience

Proven experience in electrical estimating. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods. Familiarity with project management principles and practices. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam or AccuBid is preferred. Excellent negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail in pricing strategies. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $67,425.00-$99,674.00 per year
