Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in preparing accurate project cost estimates, supporting project planning, and ensuring competitive pricing. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your expertise in estimating and project management to contribute to successful project execution.

Duties

Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using Accubid software. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate terms to ensure competitive bids. Develop comprehensive project budgets, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. Review and refine estimates to align with project scope and client expectations. Assist in the development of bid proposals and presentations. Monitor market trends and update pricing databases regularly to maintain accurate cost data. Support project management teams throughout the project lifecycle by providing cost analysis and forecasting. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating, with proficiency Trimble (Accubid) or Suderman software. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Experience in project management is a plus. Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to construction estimating. This role is essential for ensuring our projects are accurately priced and competitively bid, supporting the overall success of our construction operations.

Pay: $110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
