We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our electrical estimating team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in preparing accurate project cost estimates, supporting project planning, and ensuring competitive pricing. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques to contribute to the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver precise and comprehensive bids.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates using Vision Infosoft EBM and Bluebeam.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required resources.
Develop accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate with project management teams to develop bid strategies and optimize project profitability.
Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including scope descriptions, schedules, and budgets.
Maintain organized records of estimating data, assumptions, and methodologies for future reference.
Support project management during project execution by providing cost analysis and change order estimates as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
Proficiency in Vison Infosoft EBM estimating software.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of pricing strategies within the construction industry.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to interpret complex drawings and technical specifications accurately.
Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or certifications are a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
