Champlain E P&C Inc. is specialized in Electrical systems, Protection & Controls for hydro generating stations. We provide turnkey solutions and specific services including engineering, Supply, Installation and Commissioning.

Our main office is located in Chambly Quebec, we are looking for electrical engineers, technologists and technicians to join our team.

Along with the opening of our new office in St. Catharines, we are hiring:

Job Location

Niagara Region, Ontario

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with our engineering teams, you will actively participate in the rehabilitation of protection and control systems:

Design of electrical schematics (protection, control, instrumentation), logic and wiring diagrams Preparation of Bill Of Material, cable lists Writing technical documentation Support during manufacturing/shop testing, installation and on-site commissioning Simultaneous management of multiple projects with precision and attention to detail Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
Candidates may occasionally work from home, presence in office and the availability to work regular day shift in hydro power plant in the Niagara region is required (occasionally throughout the province).

Qualifications

- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent

- Experience with AutoCAD (mandatory) and Microsoft Office

- Autonomy, team spirit, and ability to work on-site

- Assets: Commissioning experience, circuit design, experience in hydroelectric power plants, PLC/HMI programming.
