Engineering Co-op (Electrical ),

The successful candidate will join us for the Winter, 2026 co-op term starting in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Support with FEM Projects Participate in Model Preparation and Setup Assisting with creating or modifying models for simulation Running FEA simulations using software Contributing to data analysis and reporting Learning to interpret simulation results to identify stress concentrations, deformation, or thermal hotspots Coordination with manufacturing and test lab for testing and validation of prototypes for validation of simulations Assist with technical report preparation and presentations for engineering teams Working closely with senior engineers and mentors Participating in team meetings and design reviews Ensuring simulations and results are documented according to company standards Learning and applying relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, CSA)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Understanding of electrical/mechanical engineering fundamentals Familiarity with FEM an asset Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technical applications Capable of performing engineering calculations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
