Job Description

As the Electrical Team Lead within SSV engineering, you will be responsible for the technical, human, and strategic management of electrical expertise in a matrix structure. You will play a key role in the development of innovative electrical systems for BRP vehicles, ensuring consistency, quality, and the evolution of the discipline.



YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:



Ensure the management of human resources for electrical expertise (recruitment, development, assessment).



Define, provide, and maintain the necessary design and validation tools for this expertise.



Supervise simulation, validation, laboratory testing, and comparative testing activities.



Implement and monitor DVP processes (Design Verification Plan), FPS (Functional Performance Specification), DFx, PFMEA, and DFMEA.



Develop and monitor the certification plan for electrical systems.



Ensure continuous technology monitoring to maintain cutting-edge expertise.



Manage technical relationships with key suppliers.



Define and monitor the Tooling Release Plan.



Plan resources based on projects and priorities.



Lead and develop a group of colleagues within the competency to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.



THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:



A university degree in electrical engineering or a related field.



At least 5 years of relevant experience, including team or project management.



Proficiency in electrical design, validation, and simulation tools and methods.



Extensive knowledge of quality standards and processes (DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP, etc.).



Recognized leadership, and the ability to mobilize and develop a team.



Excellent communication skills in French and English.



The ability to thrive in a matrix and multidisciplinary environment.
