Electrical Engineer
$45/hr - $75/hr

Duties
Hands on hardware design, testing and modelling.
Reports to Electrical Lead as a member of the Paton Engineering Team.
Support and provide input into the development of the Proposals
Perform design of Cables, Cable Trays, HV and LV Switchgear, Distribution Panels, UPS Systems, Motors, Electrical heat Tracing (EHT) Systems, Transformers and Drives
Performs Area Classification studies
Works closely with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Controls groups to ensure correct sizing and selection of equipment based on the application requirements; develops material specification to support procurement activities
Prepares scoping and commissioning documentation to support Construction and
Commissioning activities
Supports development and execution of testing procedures for Electrical Equipment
Vendor offer reviews and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for electrical equipment
Prepare technical and status reports for the project
Identifies scope changes and proactively recommends solutions and provides estimating

Assets:
Electrical Engineering Degree and P.Eng required
Experience in SKM and ETAP (Preferred)
Self-Starter and able to work with minimal supervision
Customer Focused, ability to solve client problem and work independently at client site
Works well within a Team Environment
8-10 years\' experience in the Oil and Gas Engineering Design Industrial
