We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer who has firm experience in PDC buildings, E-Houses, and other Electrical Equipment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and experience with various design and analysis tools. This role involves working on innovative projects that require a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. This individual will manage all the duties required of the Modular Electrical Systems group to deliver PDC / E-House buildings to market.
Responsibilities
Create Proposals for PDC Buildings, E-Houses and Various Electrical Equipment.
Manage and coordinate engineering, fabrication and procurement efforts for electrical packaged Projects;
Project Manage Electrical Package Projects, namely PDC Buildings, E-House and design build equipment;
Work with and coordinate vendors and contractors to complete Electrical Package Projects;
Complete hand-over documentation and project close outs;
Manage key vendor, contractor and client relationships;
Manage Change on Electrical Package projects.
Evaluate equipment options from both commercial and pricing
Communication Skills:
Must have well developed communication skills in three (3) areas written, verbal and convey technical acumen.
Interpersonal Skills:
Must interrelate with a variety of external and internal levels; the ability to listen, show empathy and apply extensive industry and information technology knowledge in a cooperative and meaningful manner is necessary.
Conflict Resolution Skills:
May become involved with conflicts and misperceptions that may manifest from time-to-time. Therefore, this individual may be called upon to re-establish a delivery team's work purpose and/or appropriate levels of perception between a client and CANUSA delivery teams. The approach expected can be expressed as the "art of influence" as opposed to the making of arbitrary decisions.
Planning/Organizing Skills:
Must be comfortable with the fact that this role has a significant "ad hoc" aspect to it. Therefore strong self-management and time management skills are required.
Computer and Information Systems Knowledge:
This position is not considered a computer and information systems expert. However, the fact that much of this role's work effort is within the context of computer-based systems it is beneficial that the individual responsible for this role have a broad spectrum of knowledge in information associated to the products and electronics CANUSA EPC sells and supports.
Other Skills:
Must have three (3) to five (5) years:
Working knowledge in an oilfield related role in either electrical, instrumentation and/or oilfield construction;
Experience in business development activities, with a preference towards the development of relationships within the industry;
Have a focus on delivering expertise and credibility to the field.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 2-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng or P.L (ENG) only
