Job Description

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan, supervise and carry out the design and installation of electrical systems (electrical distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm and other related systems);
- Determine the concepts used to carry out projects according to customer requests;
- Coordinate technical deliverables in the search for technical solutions;
- Conduct survey visits;
- Oversee the preparation of plans and specifications;
- Support technical staff (technicians, draftsmen and other engineers attached to projects);
- Verify and coordinate work in progress in collaboration with other parties (architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, etc.);
- Prepare budget estimates, as well as plans and specifications reports;
- Participate in site meetings;
- Participate in partial supervision of work;
- Any other job-related tasks. Profile
The ideal profile has the following characteristics:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (specializing in building) or building engineering
- Must hold a license to practice as an engineer FULL-RIGHT with the Ordre des ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec (OIQ)
- Knowledge of standards required in Quebec
- 3-5 years of\'experience in consulting engineering or equivalent
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Versatility, autonomy, ease of communication
- Leadership and excellent customer service skills
- Excellent knowledge of applicable standards and codes
- Fluency in spoken and written French - Asset - Fluency in English
- Valid drivers license
