Join us.AECOM has an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the role of Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Discipline Lead for a full-time position in AECOM Canada's Mining and Industrial team. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in team management, delivering conceptual, preliminary and detailed design phases, and construction services of mining and industrial projects. They will work in a team environment with intermediate and senior engineers to deliver studies and detailed designs projects to our clients based in Western Canada, Canada and the US and beyond.The Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Discipline Lead will provide mentorship to more junior staff - guiding them in their technical development and recommending training and investment necessary for those staff to progress in their career and in alignment with our mining and industrial group strategic requirements.Excellent communication skills will be required for this role for clarity in staff support/coordination, scope communications, confirmation of client expectations, certainty in delegation and confidence in company representation to clientsThis position may be based in any of our Western Canada offices - it is expected that the successful candidate will initiate team growth within the same office but may hire strategic personnel and supporting teams in other geographies where more pragmatic.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Leadership Expectations:
