Job Description

Job Title: Electrical EngineerProvide engineering support and project management for capital projects and major repair projects. Maintain and update documentation and electronic versions of all electrical schematics, including panel layouts and PLC programs. Offer expertise in PLC Control Systems and Programming for the development and troubleshooting of Electrical and Automation Control Systems. Design circuit and layout drawings of control and power panels, and coordinate with engineering and shop personnel on machine control modifications to robotic and electrical systems. Further develop skills in engineering principles, scientific analysis, and LEAN principles. Assist in training shop personnel and support them in troubleshooting equipment. Coordinate project installations with Maintenance and contractors. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide solutions to eliminate root causes. Inspect electrical components during and after installation.Hard Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Electrical/Controls field
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment
• Proficient in Autocad Electrical
• Customer interfacing for project specifications and scope development
