What You'll Be Doing:Design, develop, and provide guidance on electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery Test and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) Assist with installation, testing, and debugging of components during startups and commissioning Perform Proof of Concept activities for complex technical challenges Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and provide remote support to field service Collaborate with engineering and project management to integrate robotics, CNC upgrades, and other equipment Create and maintain documentation for new and existing equipment Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Johnson Electric policies Perform other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering/Design, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Electromechanical disciplines Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Designer with EPLAN software Strong knowledge of CSA, UL, and industrial robot safety compliance standards Ability to create, read, and interpret electrical prints and design principles Expertise in system control, PLC, and HMI programming Experience commissioning machines, including IO checkout, Ethernet IP device setup, and machine safety testing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills (written and verbal) at all organizational levels Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional High integrity, dependability, and results-driven mindset

Bonus Points If You Have:Hands-on experience with component swapping and troubleshooting Experience editing and managing pneumatic drawings using SolidWorks Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams
