Your role as an Electrical Intern will be to take part in engineering projects. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the quality of professional services that are provided and for maintaining good working relationships.

Participate in small to major design projects for utility (substation and generation) and heavy industry clients (e.g., mining, industrial, renewable energy)
Participate in short-circuit, load flow, grounding and arc-flash studies
Perform calculations, both manually and with specialized software
Apply calculation results and design methods
Prepare sketches and drawings
Apply settings to protection relays, meters and other electrical devices
Prepare reports, specifications and tenders
Perform troubleshooting, testing, assessment, adjustment, site supervision and commissioning at client sites
Check work for accuracy and conformity

Enrolled in an Electrical or Energy Systems undergraduate engineering program
Good academic grades
