Responsibilities
-Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints under Canadian Electrical Code to determine the layout of electrical equipment installation
-Install electro motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), circuit breakers, disconnect switches, and other electrical control devices on HVAC units
-Install and replace transformers, reactors, temperature and pressure sensors and gauges, humidity sensors, and other sophisticated control devices on HVAC units
-Test electrical equipment, circuits, and dampers motor for voltage, current and continuity
-Install compressor control circuits, humidifier, damper motors, and other control devices
-Install, replace, and repair electrical wiring, switch boxes, liquid tights and conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
-Other duties as assigned
Assets
-Previous wiring experience preferred
-Assembly/manufacturing experience
-Experience working on HVAC equipment is an asset
-Experience with sheet metal and metal fabrication processes an asset
-Able to lift up to 50lbs
-Able to read drawings and tape measure with attention to detail
-Good troubleshooting skills
