We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
Panel Assembler
for a
3-month contract assignment
. You will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and installing components to build high-quality, purpose-built electrical panels using blueprints, manuals, and engineering instructions. This is a hands-on production role requiring accuracy, safety, and strong assembly skills.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assembly activities as outlined in work documents and instructions.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Lay out components and assemble electrical panels according to engineering requirements.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe work habits at all times.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
Identify and report non-conforming components.
Support and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (required).
College diploma/certificate in a relevant field or Skilled Trade (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience in electrical panel assembly or manufacturing is an asset.
Strong mechanical aptitude; familiar with hand and power tools.
1-2 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
Organized with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of an assembly team.
Process-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to quality work.
